[ the fingers at her hair are... reminders. gentle encouragement. she leans into her gentle work, pulling away after a moment to look at the newly-formed bruise.

it's... satisfying. it feels good, being able to see what she's left dan heng with. it just doesn't feel like quite enough.

she glances over to him, worry still clear in her eyes. ]

...was that too hard?

Not at all.

[voice soft.]

...You don't have to be so delicate with me.

[ her voice catches. when she speaks, it's quiet, subdued. ]

Do you want me to go harder?

[lifeban]

[reiterates his internal begging to the aeons, the universe, et cetera.]

If that's okay.

[ she doesn't know what she should feel. she doesn't know what she is feeling. relief and worry and tension and that same coiling heat in her gut as earlier.

she nods, leaning in to gently kiss at that mark. and then she moves down an inch, licks the skin, and bites down. not hard - not hard enough to draw blood, at least. but hard enough to satisfy that urge. ]

[she gets a small sound from him, this time-- something more of a reaction. really, it's less of a gasp than a moment where he holds his breath, short and sharp, fingers curling just barely tighter in her hair.]

[ there it is. there's that feeling again. her jaw clenches; her body tenses. and then she pulls back, asking almost desperately- ]

-are you okay?

[ her eyes scream with worry. her body language is tense - terrified that she'll do something she can't take back. and yet-

and yet there's no denying the flush at her cheeks, the way her lips are parted, the slight shift to her hips as she pushes her knees together. ]

[it's sweet. it is. but it also rubs raw at his own protectiveness, how worried she is about him.

so he pulls, with that hand in her hair, trying to drag her into a kiss.]

[ oh. oh, he's not hurting, or at least only hurting, he's-

their lips meet, completely free of drugs and aphrodisiac and the hotel's outside influence for the first time. her first sober kiss - that she can remember, at least. it's... nice. affectionate.

she wants to kiss dan heng more. just as much as she wants to mark him, she's pretty sure.

so she lets him drag her in without hesitation, pressing her lips to his as earnestly as she can. ]

[the edge of irritation bleeds out of him immediately, when she meets the kiss so eagerly. but he still knows she's worried, so he keeps it sweet, for now, kissing her warm and easy.]

[ this much she can do. she catches his bottom lip between hers, thinking less about her guilt and her fears and more about how his lip is surprisingly soft against hers. her hands sneak under his arms, and she wraps her arms around him once again - not to dig crescent moons into his back this time, but just to hold him. ]

[he leans readily into her. liking the warmth of her body, how she's solid and real against him... in as much as can be expected, he guesses, in a dream. it's nice, having it not be so overwhelming.]

[ it's nice. the feeling of his body supporting hers, his lips meeting hers so gently... it's really nice. the kind of nice she could get used to. she stays there for a moment, kissing and pressing against him and nibbling at his bottom lip but never going much further than that.

she lays her palm on his cheek. her skin is soft, her fingers gentle. ]

[it's cute, and sweet, and achingly easy to nip back lightly, settle fond and pleasant in the cradle of her hand and her mouth and her embrace. he's not even really aware, as his tail wraps around her lower back.]

[ his tail...? ah. that's cute. she doesn't smile, exactly, but she does let out a soft, pleased sigh. ]

Do you want more? Or would you rather just... lay here?

[ she doesn't sound like she's complaining either way. ]

[he hesitates, thinking.]

...Either is good.

[he wants her, badly, but it's cooled off to a less urgent kind of need. which unfortunately means he can be self-conscious about it. not because of her, but because he went from being a virgin for centuries to getting six kinds of railed daily so fast, and he worries that it's a lot. that he's a lot.]

[huffs something soft and laugh-adjacent, pressing a kiss to her hair.]

I'm pretty sure that counts for one of the missions.

[ dan heng....... she freezes against him, then slowly pushes herself up to look directly into his eyes. ]
