[And they're off! The tea shop is quite close, just a block away, which Dan Feng spends thinking very hard about holding Dan Heng's hand but he also maybe that was too much so he settles for walking close enough that their knuckles brush sometimes and also he was so incredibly happy to just see Dan Heng that it was making him dizzy.]

That's good, it wasn't nearly as fun as the last one, since I could not maim someone.

[That makes him short-circuit for a moment - he's held hands with other people before, but Dan Heng is comfortable, and Dan Feng wants to cut his hand off so he can have it forever, but that was probably bad.]

There's the shop. [It sure is quite charming, in the sunset.] If you order that tea with the chewy things I will kill you.

[Fiend!!! Dan Feng pulls him along with one last, pleased look at their joined hands, and goes up to the counter. The place is deserted at this time, which is just as well, considering he takes this time to roleplay as an octopus, sliding his hands around Dan Heng's waist from behind.]

What sort of tea do you prefer?

[A couple of minutes later, a tray with all the implements for making a cup of matcha slides on the table in front of Dan Heng, along with some soybean mochi in a lacquered box. There are also two bottles of radioactively-bright, sunset-gradient-coloured iced tea.

Dan Feng makes to get into the seat across him, before thinking better of it and hauling up a chair with the most Aeons-awful screech, to sit kitty-corner to Dan Heng.]

Ceremonial matcha. And the bottled ones - I'd asked for something similar I've seen on Penacony. The original tea is illegal but it tastes good from what I remember...

It induced reckless euphoria, but it also tasted very good. Like berries and mint. [Under the table, he's running his ankle up Dan Heng's shin.] I do not think this place can replicate the effect, but I hope it can copy the taste at least.
