[There's a bit of on the banks of the lake, crunching underfoot, but eventually Dan Feng leads them to the base of a large tree, whose roots formed a sort of cradle around the dry ground below.
He procures a fleece blanket from the bucket - it's hardly good quality, and the fibres are stiff (with a suspicious stain on a corner) - and spreads it on the ground.]
The alcohol from the game disappeared, so this is from town, but it wasn't very good alcohol anyway. There is no good alcohol on this planet.
[settling on the blanket, arranging himself so the blanket he himself brought is draped over his shoulders, then extending his arm outward like a matador. expectant. come cuddle.]
[He'd had these before with Yingxing, but always with the wine between them; it was improper, no matter how much he wanted.]
I, um. [He scrambles to drape his own blankets on Dan Heng, then curls up against his side, so they're both under several layers of warmth, tails twined together, less man and more dragon.] Is this all right?
[tiny grimace. is it the mention of cycles or the very cold hand? unclear. but he reaches for a beer.]
The fertility of the Vidyadhara wasn't lost naturally, but rather an exchange, so it makes sense for there to be holdovers, especially in those who have changed the least from that time.
[Luckily Dan Feng is an easy guy (specifically for Dan Heng and one (1) other person), so he's easily distracted as he snuggles further into his warmth.]

[shoulderbunp.]
The lake looks nice.
Re: DAY 12 9PM
Come. I found a spot sheltered by some trees, where they stop the wind, at this time.
Re: DAY 12 9PM
Oh, good.

Re: DAY 12 9PM
You don't?

[He reaches for the alcohol- some cheap beers, and two bottles of really shit vodka.
A very cold hand also insinuates itself up the back of Dan Heng's clothes.]

Re: DAY 12 9PM
I. [He starts, quiet, curling that cold hand around Dan Heng's hip.] I could have restored it. That fertility. That night.
Re: DAY 12 9PM
fuck]
It's... better not to think about what could have been.
[leaning into him just a little more]
Re: DAY 12 9PM
That game was really awful. Awful.
Re: DAY 12 9PM
...Because of the tea?
Re: DAY 12 9PM
[Injured sniff :((]
There were- compulsions. Involved. I did not like that.
Re: DAY 12 9PM
That... makes sense, yes.
